Saving Iceland Concert - Armand & Captain Tobias Hume

Cultural/Events | Saving Iceland
Armand

This Friday, May 23rd, the legendary Dutch singer Armand will play a concert in Kaffi Hljómalind, with Captain Tobias Hume.

Armand, who is known as the Dutch Bob Dylan, is a big supporter of Saving Iceland and has played several times for the group in Europe. This will be his first concert in Iceland, where he will play couple of new songs that he has composed specially about and for Saving Iceland.

Captain Tobias Hume

Captain Tobias Hume is a baroque hippy and a double bass player. When he is not busy playing with the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra he puts on the pirate suit and plays and sings music which is impossible to describe in words... you just got to be there. Tobias has played in the last two Saving Iceland protest camps.

Admission is free but Armand and Tobias suggest that guests give a little donation to Saving Iceland.

The concert starts at 22:00 in Kaffi Hljómalind, Laugarvegur 23, Reykjavík.

Also... for those who can not make it to the concert on Friday, Armand will play on the weekly Food Not Bombs event in Reykjavík, this Saturday, May 24th. FNB takes place at Lækjartorg square and starts at 14:00.
